Features Guide

Browse Locations

Explore all available locations from the home page or use the Locations dropdown in the navigation. Each location has photos, descriptions, and audio guides.

  1. Click on "Locations" in the navigation bar
  2. Select a location from the dropdown menu
  3. Or browse tours from the home page and explore individual stops

Using the Map

The interactive map shows all tour locations with markers. Tap markers to see details and distances from your current position.

  1. Allow location access when prompted for best experience
  2. Blue markers show unvisited locations
  3. Green markers show visited locations
  4. Red marker indicates your currently selected location
  5. Distance badges show how far each location is from you

Getting Directions

Get turn-by-turn walking directions to any location using your preferred maps app.

  1. Open any location page
  2. Click "Get Directions" button
  3. Your maps app (Apple Maps or Google Maps) will open
  4. Follow the walking directions to reach the location

Audio Playback

Listen to narrated audio guides at each location to learn about its history and significance.

  1. Navigate to a location with an audio guide
  2. Find the Audio Guide section on the page
  3. Press play to start listening
  4. Use skip buttons to jump forward or backward
  5. Audio will continue playing as you browse other content

Offline Mode

Download tour content to your device and access it even without an internet connection. Perfect for areas with poor signal.

  1. While connected to internet, open a tour page
  2. Click the "Download for Offline" button
  3. Wait for all content to download
  4. You can now access the tour without internet
  5. Cached content is stored for 7 days

Proximity Notifications

Receive notifications when you approach a point of interest on your walking tour.

  1. Enable notifications when prompted
  2. Set your preferred notification radius (default 100m)
  3. Keep the app open while walking
  4. Receive alerts as you approach locations
  5. Tap notifications to view location details

Pro Tips

Add to Home Screen

For the best experience, add this app to your home screen. On iOS, tap Share then "Add to Home Screen". On Android, tap the menu and "Add to Home Screen".

Download Before You Go

If you're visiting an area with poor mobile signal, download the tour content while you have Wi-Fi connection.

Save Data

Once content is cached, you can use offline mode to avoid using mobile data during your walk.
